ComprehensiveVein Care

Focused diagnosis and treatment for common and complex venous presentations.

When Vein Symptoms Are Part of a More Complex Picture

Some patients have symptoms that are not fully explained by superficial venous reflux alone. In selected cases, an extended consultation may assess whether vascular compression, joint hypermobility, connective tissue laxity, peripheral nerve irritation or altered musculoskeletal mechanics are contributing to the presentation.

Hypermobility & venous symptoms

Assessment for patients with diagnosed or suspected HSD or EDS who also experience limb heaviness, swelling or recurrent treatment problems.

Vascular Compression Assesment

Clinical and ultrasound assessment where symptoms may suggest selected vascular compression patterns

Vascular malformations

Assessment and ultrasound-guided management of selected vascular malformations

fascia & musculoskeletal assessment

Focused clinical and ultrasound assessment of fascia, myofascial chains and joints when symptoms are not explained by vascular presentation.

WHAT AN EXTENDED ASSESSMENT MAY INCLUDE

Our extended assessment services include:

Detailed medical and treatment history

Targeted hypermobility screening

Vascular, neurological and musculoskeletal examination

Ultrasound-guided procedures

Multidisciplinary care

The Laurel Clinical Approach

Complex Venous &
Connective Tissue Assessment

A structured assessment pathway for patients whose symptoms are recurrent, disproportionate or not fully explained by routine venous findings.

  • Hypermobility and EDS
  • Recurrent or unexplained symptoms
  • Selected vascular compression patterns
  • Peripheral nerve and fascial overlap

Integrated, evidence-base care

We collaborate with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, guide rehabilitation and track outcomes. Procedures are recommended only when assessment indicates they will address the underlying issue and support meaningful improvement.

Treating the cause,
not just the visible veins

Many visible veins are only the surface expression of increased pressure and reflux in the legs. By understandiing the underlying pattern, treatment can ebe more precise and more meaningful.
